My first harp, the one I currently take to venues, is the Lyon & Healy Troubadour V. It was on this harp that I acquired my foundational training. It has elegant lines and concert string spacing. The sound is so wonderful from this harp! A few years after getting my first harp, I purchased a lap harp, called a Harpsicle. This was a travel size harp. Sound quality is much different due to its smaller size, but a very fun recreational item to bring along small trips or outings. Then, more recently, I added a pedal harp to my set, making a trio of harps in all their versatility. This grand and exquisite instrument, Lyon & Healy Style 100, is pushing my learning to a new level as playing a pedal harp is very different than a lever harp. Using ones feet on the pedals to change keys rather than flipping levers with your hands. It also allows music in all keys to played.

I was fortunate to add a pedal harp to my experience and am developing my skills to add it to my offering. It is a lovely Lyon & Healey Style 100, in ebony. This is a formal concert size harp and learning the pedals is a much more in depth .

This lovely harp is the one I currently bring to venues.
It is a natural maple color Troubadour V made by Lyon and Healy. This 36 string lever harp has a Sitka spruce soundboard. Each harp has a unique sound; one that varies based on the wood grain structure in the soundboard piece. The quality of sound resonating from my harp has been noticed as exceptionally rich and warm.

My lap harp called a Harpsicle. It is a delightful small, limited key range instrument perfect for music on the go. It is a playful bright red.
